Water districts are charged to comply with NSF and EPA standards 56 and 60 for potability. These standards try to ensure that biologically active agents (pathogens) are eliminated in drinking water. They are, however, not able to eliminate, much less control, three other components of potable water:
1] NEUROTOXICITY
2]IMMUNE RESPONSE IMPACT
3] ENDOCRINE RESPONSE IMPACT
The TSWS solution is to reduce many of these well below existing “safe” levels.
EPA now regards water once labeled as “Safe to Drink” to water that is now “Acceptable Risk”
